Νότια της Saerloon, στη χερσόνησο Saeneus, ανακαλύφθηκαν πρόσφατα κοιτάσματα αργύρου.
Το χωριουδάκι (hamlet pop. ~500) Koperaltaar έχει γνωρίσει τo τελευταίο 4-μηνο κύματα επιτήδειων που θέλουν να αρπάξουν λίγο από τον νέο πλούτο. Κόσμος από όλη τη sembia, αλλά κ παραέξω, καταφθάνει και 'αγωνίζεται' για μια θέση στην υπερκμετάλλευση των λατομείων ή στην υποστήριξη της. Tο Koperaltaar συνεχώς μεγαλώνει και πλέον θυμίζει πολύβουη πόλη σε ώρα αιχμής. Πλέον τα αγαθά και οι υπηρεσίες που αλλάζουν χέρι και προσφέρονται, δεν θυμίζουν τη καθημερινότητα που επικρατούσε όταν υπήρχαν μόνο τα παλιά λατομεία και ορυχεία χαλκού.
κ κανείς δεν ξέρει που θα σταματήσει αυτός ο πυρετός ασημιού.

Ακόμα, καμία περιφερειακή δύναμη [future post] δεν έχει πάρει 'το πάνω χέρι', αλλά διάφορες είναι on site και στη προσπάθεια. Περισσότερες αναμένονται άμεσα.

Saerloon was one of the original colony cities established in the land that would be Sembia, and was known in those times as Chondathan. It gained the name Saerloon from the master merchant Saer, whose brave and industrious nature helped establish the city as an economic powerhouse. It is an old, refined city of exotic architecture and varied tastes. Its buildings are laced with cornices, friezes, carvings, and the ever-present gargoyles. Its people epitomize the head-down, continual bustle that marks Sembia, pausing only briefly (and regularly) to check to see if someone is creeping up on them

Dusky Saerloon is also a hotbed of thieving activities and intrigue, some of which is supported by the local merchants. The Night Knives are local thieves, smugglers and fences, though they are infiltrated by other groups. The Eyeless Mask is a group of slavers with a hatred of mages, priests, and the nobility

-- [Moonsea] Xvim is freed from his prison under the ruins of Zhentil Keep and becomes a lesser god.
-- [The Dales] Randal Morn reclaims the throne of Daggerdale

1370, Υear of the Tankard :
-- [The Dales] The Shaking Plague decimates Scardale. Added to the wars it started & occupation by its enemies, Scardale Town is in virtual anarchy. As the cities begin to recover from the 15-year disaster that beset Scardale, the Sembians and the Zhents are the most powerful factions in Scardale Town.
-- [Moonsea] Manshoon, The Black Network and founder of the Zhentarim, is slain by Fzoul Chembryl and the Zhentarim purged of Manshoon's supporters. Fzoul, leader of the cult of Xvim, gains control over most of the organization.

1371, Υear of the Unstrung Harp :
-- [Cormyr] A red dragon leads an army of orcs and goblins and despoils much of Cormyr. The dragon and King Azoun IV slay each other in battle, leaving an infant heir on Cormyr's throne.
-- [Sembia] Overmaster Elduth Yarmmaster died of old age. The new Overmaster is named Kendrick the Tall of the great Selkrik trading family. He is regarded as a fair and honest man, but the same cannot be said of the rest of his family.

[Sembia]

Steelpence [out of iron, square] are used in place of copper coins
Silver coins are called Ravens [triangular, with blunted corners]
Gold coins are called Nobles [five-sided]

All Sembian coins have the Raven-and-Silver Arms of Sembia on the foreface, the denomination stamped above and the date (in DR) below. Sembian coins often have a bluish tinge, from the grease acquired during minting being burned off in a flame.

Tradebars: very widely accepted.
25gp-tradebar [6x3x1 inches]
50gp-tradebar [6x3x3]
75gp-tradebar [6x3x4]
100gp-tradebar [9x3x2] with a central hole [1in]
Proof and ownership marks are commonly stamped into the bottom surface of a tradebar, and don't affect value.
